a new experience

For some people it can be hard to stay committed to writing. At least for me it's challenging... to find the motivation and time for it isn't always easy. I'm the kind of person who can't write everyday, because I feel different everyday. Sometimes after a long day at school I'm tired and maybe even in a bad mood and I have no interest in writing or working on my story. Other days, I may have a lot of free time and feel inspired with what I experienced throughout the day, that I feel it is good enough to jot it down. So it varies, and it can ,make it harder to get anything down in a matter of days. However, I down ant to enter a writing contest which  found online because I feel it would be good experience, and the are offering good prizes. It calls for a short story, so 250-750 words, which is actually hard, considering that it's only 2 pages. I hope I can make the deadline and have perseverance to keep on writing, although it may not be very good. So whoever is interested in this sort of thing, there are plenty of creative writing contests out there that offer benefits of you do win.
Perseverance also works in the real world outside of writing. This includes school, work, sports and any other activity in your life. Applying this character trait to other things in your life will be helpful, and it will help any writers who have a hard time continuing with their writing.
