What would you do to save a life? Or even to be a witness to others that you stand for life. This is what I did with my sister last Monday, and the Wednesday before that. We held signs in front of an abortion clinic, which happens to be right next to my high school. The signs we held said, honk if you love life, and abortion stops a beating heart. We got a number of honks, and thumbs up, but also got a lot of eyes that didn't look our way. I feel that either they didn't see us, or didn't choose to see us. Something made them not want to look at us, or our signs. Their point of view staggered their conscience and told them to look the other way. But don't they realize that 30,000 innocent babies are being killed everyday due to abortion? How can we fight for disease to save a life, or give money to the poor to save lives, or even help lives in Darfur, ect... but can't help lives that are being killed in our own backyard, all across America.
We have to realize that all life is precious, and this includes life in the womb, who can not voice out their own opinion. This is our turn to speak out for the unborn. Please write your comments, and let me know what you think about this issue.
